It all started November 28, 2001. Dawn, Queen, Lina, and myself had one more day to spend in NYC. It was just after 9/11. Going helped me not disassociate myself, from the situation (that is so easily done, being 3000 miles away), from the destruction.....Anyway, we were going to go to Pastor Eric Butler's church in Jersey, but the morning of our last day, I was that the Tree Lighting at Rockefeller wss happening later that night, so to feel a part of NY. On our way to the center, Dawn wanted to do a little bit of shopping, so we when shopping first. As it neared 5 pm, we hopped on the train to Rock. Center. Thousand and thousands of people. We stopped to talk to some of the servicemen, police and firefighters and took pictures with them.
